The MyoAlert Muscle Contactor

Intended for paralyzed people to enable them to call a loved one or caregiver using a wireless chime.

The MyoAlert sensor is very sensitive (and adjustable). It can detect almost imperceptible movement. A very slight frown, a very slight movement of the cheek, a slight shrug of the shoulder, a muscle contraction of the arm, leg, etc.

The small size sensor can be placed anywhere you want.

Customizable and scalable

Simple settings are made using buttons on the box

The wireless transmitter controls remote control chimes and sockets (fan, light, etc.)

A choice of the number of consecutive contractions to trigger the chime

A choice of 5 sensitivity levels. The highest can detect extremely small movements (less than 1 mm). Suitable for progressive neurodegenerative diseases that lead to increasing muscle weakness.

Advanced settings can be made via a web interface to suit individual requirements.

A connector (3.5mm jack) to interface with other systems

How does MyoAlert work?

The sensor is placed on the skin (hand, arm, head, etc.). The MyoAlert measures voluntary movements and counts the number of successive contractions.

Depending on the number of contractions, the built-in wireless transmitter triggers a chime or remote-controlled sockets (bedside lamp or fan control). These actions are adjustable by the user.

Advanced configurations

Home WIFI

WIFI connection allows advanced configuration of settings using a smartphone or computer.

Ultra-customizable settings

Finer adjustments are possible to filter each movement based on amplitude and duration to avoid false triggers.

Les réglages peuvent évoluer en fonction de la force du patient dans le cas d’une maladie évolutive.

Configurable actions

Different actions can be configured depending on the number of detections: several chimes (living room, bedroom), switching on a device on a remote-controlled socket, etc.

Support

Measurements can be sent in real time to the manufacturer to assist with fine adjustments.
